About Page and Quill

At Page and Quill, our mission is to empower authors and entrepreneurs with stories that inspire and resources that transform. We’re a fully-remote team passionate about publishing romance novels that touch hearts while providing seed funding, business planning resources, and mentorship to strengthen communities. We thrive on creating meaningful content and rethinking how publishing can serve both readers and aspiring business owners.

What We Do

We publish books that matter. Our authors trust us to bring their work into the world with care, creativity, and commitment. From acquisition to production to marketing, every step of our process is designed to honor the writer’s vision while connecting their stories with readers who will love them.

Who We’re Looking For

We want people who care about books. People who understand that publishing is both an art and a business. Whether you’re an editor who can see the heart of a manuscript, a designer who knows how covers sell books, or a marketer who can find the perfect readers for every title, we want to hear from you.

Our Core Values

Excellence. You set high standards for your creative work and hold yourself accountable to them. You solve design challenges that have a real impact on our authors, readers, and community.

Craft. You care deeply about the quality of your designs. You’re continuously learning, refining your skills, and pushing the boundaries of your creativity. You work with focus and intensity, then step away to recharge completely.

Ownership. Others can trust that you’ll deliver on time. You keep your commitments and trust your teammates to do the same. You take initiative, stay accountable, and work effectively with minimal direction.

Communication. Your communication is clear, professional, and warm. You keep the team informed and never disappear without notice. You build positive relationships through respectful interactions and navigate feedback with grace.

As our Graphic Designer, you’ll be the creative force behind Page and Quill’s visual identity. You’ll design book covers that make readers stop scrolling, create marketing materials that convert browsers into buyers, and develop brand assets that establish our presence in both the romance and entrepreneurship spaces.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll own the entire design process from concept to final delivery. You’ll work closely with our authors and publishing team to bring stories to life visually, design promotional graphics for social media and email campaigns, and ensure every visual touchpoint reflects our brand’s warmth and professionalism.

You’ll have creative freedom to experiment with design trends while maintaining brand consistency across all our romance imprints and business education materials. This role is perfect for a designer who loves the romance genre, understands commercial fiction positioning, and wants their work to directly impact book sales and author success.
