Who is this challenge for?
This challenge is for anyone who wants to complete a full first draft—fiction or nonfiction—in 30 days. Whether you're starting from scratch or picking up a stalled project, this program helps you stay focused and finish strong.
Do I need to have an idea before starting?
No idea? No problem. The challenge includes exercises in the first few days to help you develop your concept, outline key ideas or story beats, and build a structure that supports fast drafting.
How much time do I need to commit each day?
Most writers dedicate 1–2 hours per day. Some days are heavier writing sprints, while others focus on light planning or reflection. The course is designed to be flexible around your schedule.
What if I fall behind?
You can always catch up. We build in buffer days and offer weekly check-ins to help you reset, regroup, and keep going without pressure to be perfect.
Are there live sessions or is it all self-paced?
The core content is self-paced, but optional live sessions (like writing sprints, Q&As, and encouragement check-ins) are available to keep you motivated and supported.
Will there be support from other writers?
Yes! You’ll be part of a writing cohort with a private discussion space where you can share progress, ask questions, and connect with others on the same journey.
What if I can’t make the live streams or watch the replays?
That’s totally okay. Live streams are a bonus, not a requirement. All the core lessons, writing prompts, and guidance are built into the main course. You can complete everything at your own pace and still finish your draft on time—even if you never attend a live session.
